Some books teach us things, some bring us to foreign places and others are places to store secrets. All books have one thing in common – the page. Start by experimenting with this simple building block of books. Make your own pages and embellish them with flowers, engravings, stamps and embossing. Learn how to fold, marbleize, and make them three dimensional.
Learn how to turn one sheet of paper into a book. Compile your favorite pages and sew them into a basic codex, stack them into Japanese stab binding or attach them into accordion fold book. Create your own covers. Build a book with a secret compartment to store things.
Never judge a book by its cover, there's so much more there. With help from Dexterity Press.
